Dr. Shashank Trivedi is a highly skilled and passionate Pediatrician and Neonatologist with 15 years of experience in providing comprehensive child healthcare. He is dedicated to offering the highest standard of treatment, ensuring the well-being of newborns and children through expert medical care and compassionate service.
A distinguished alumnus of the prestigious King Edward Memorial Hospital, Dr. Trivedi has pursued extensive higher studies to refine his expertise. As a Senior Consultant at EndoCradle Polyclinic, Swaroop Nagar, Kanpur, he specializes in treating a wide range of pediatric conditions and neonatal care, including vaccinations, growth monitoring, and critical newborn management.
Dr. Trivedi is proficient in advanced pediatric and neonatal procedures such as Umbilical line and PICC line insertion, Surfactant administration (InSurE, LISA), Mechanical Ventilation (including HFOV), Intercostal drain insertion, Lumbar Puncture, Intrathecal therapy, and Peritoneal drainage. His expertise extends to neonatal ultrasound (USG) and echocardiography, having completed an Advanced Neonatal Scan workshop (POCUS).
He is also an accredited trainer in Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), equipping healthcare professionals with life-saving skills. His research contributions include studies on oral iron therapy in Iron Deficiency Anemia (IDA), the incidence of hypoglycemia in small-for-gestational-age babies, and the effect of antenatal retroviral therapy on feto-maternal outcomes in HIV-positive patients.
Dr. Trivedi is an esteemed member of the National Neonatal Forum, the Indian Academy of Pediatrics, and the National Academy of Medical Sciences, staying actively engaged in the latest advancements in pediatric and neonatal medicine.
